The Duplicity – Red Sky is the original sculpture for the Duplicity series! It is the first one made and its movement is quite playful. The flow and movement of this sculpture is quite unique due to the double articulation of the pieces. Not only does the mobile articulate from the connecting wire points but the individual components also articulate. Beautiful movement is achieved with this very light sculpture. Measurements are approximately 26” wide x 27” tall and hangs at 36” from hook to bottom component.
Created with original watercolor paintings permanently adhered to sheet aluminum and sealed with a non-yellowing polyurethane this mobile is made not only to be beautiful but to last and last! We use only the finest artist grade watercolors so the colors in your sculpture will remain beautiful and vibrant.
But, like a fine painting, care should be taken to protect its beauty. It should never be placed in bright sunlight or a high moisture area. Keep well out of reach of children. It is a visual sculpture only and should never be placed in reach of a baby’s sweet hands. If you treat it like a fine painting it should hold up to the test of time.
